Julie Bevan began designing and making jewellery for herself more than 5 years ago on a trip through South East Asia. She got so many compliments on her designs that she decided to start her own jewellery design and manufacturing business on her return home.

Having studied finance and worked in stockbroking and banking she had already had a good business background. The Jules Contemporary Jewellery company has gone from strength to strength with now over 30 stockists in Ireland and the U.K.

She describes her work as ''something beautiful that is accessible to every woman'', she aims for every piece of jewellery to be very wearable and still elegant at the same time.
